Be Well, Do Well - Our 2018 Resolution

We're the first to admit that we're not big on resolutions. Why wait until January to make a change in your life? Why can't you resolve to do [X] in July?

That being said, there is no denying the energy that comes with the onset of a new year. Everything just feels fresh, and it can be easy to get caught up in the excitement. We've decided to go with the flow this year, bagging our bah humbug ways and jumping on board the resolution train.

Our 2018 resolution is simply this - Be well, do well.

We've divided that singular overarching resolution into five different areas for us to focus on in the coming year. They are, in no particular order:

  1. Give experiences, not material things.
  2. Travel more sustainably.
  3. Cut down on food waste, and waste in general.
  4. Prioritize our health.
  5. Become more fiscally responsible.

These five themes will be the foundation for a lot of what you see on School of Home going forward, and over the course of the next few days we'll go into a bit more detail on each item here on the blog.

But really, that's it for 2018. We want to be well. We want to do well. And we want that for you as well. Here's to a safe, prosperous, and rewarding 2018! Cheers!
